Update as of Thursday, March 26, 2020.

At Dirkse Counseling & Consulting, Inc., we are striving to stay abreast of the fast changes that are happening in our state due to the coronavirus pandemic. In the coming days, we may be updating this website with information as it pertains to our services to the customers that we serve. We will also make efforts to provide updates and information from the agencies that we partner with.

We operate with the view that our communities, individuals, families, and larger society are important in the development and resolution of problems, including the coronavirus pandemic. We are deeply concerned about all of our members and the communities we serve during this pandemic and we are dedicated to doing all we can to help.

Our mission is one with a service-orientation that addresses our communities using culturally responsive methods that promote well-being and reflect our commitment to high standards of service and supervision. We are committed to supporting our customer, clients, affiliates, and business partners in providing service with integrity that promotes the well-being of all our diverse community members.

We continue to accept referrals from all sources, provided we can conduct business that adheres to the Governor’s Executive Order and to our ongoing commitment to the essential work that we do for all of our members. If you have any questions about whether we can assist you or someone you know about during this time, click here to contact us with any questions or call (503) 265-9256.

SERVICES WE CAN PROVIDE AT THIS TIME

We have the capacity to conduct a wide-range of community-based services via telephone, Skype, or our Telehealth system. Here we can perform consultations, evaluations, interviews, counseling, mental-health therapy, some job retention and career exploration services, as well as parent-training, behavioral supports, and skills-building for individuals who have issues with daily living skills.

As always, be kind, reach out to those you know and care about: colleagues, friends, family, and follow appropriate steps in staying healthy.

This session was an excellent starting point to learn about disabilities and accommodations.
