This role involves conducting assessments, diagnosing using DSM criteria, developing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. Associates receive board-approved supervision while working toward licensure and growing their caseload. This position starts part-time and can transition to full-time as the caseload builds. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and committed to their professional development in a collaborative team environment.<\/p><h4>Essential Job Functions<\/h4><h6>\u00a0 Client Care &amp; Treatment<\/h6><ul><li>Conduct initial client assessments, including mental health history, DSM-based diagnosis, treatment planning and implementation.<\/li><li>Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family counseling to support client progress.<\/li><li>Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans based on clinical assessments and client needs.<\/li><li>Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards.<\/li><li>Ensure ethical and professional mental health treatment within the scope of practice and in alignment with regulatory state and industry standards.<\/li><li>Deliver both in-person and telehealth counseling sessions based on client needs and agency policies.<\/li><\/ul><h6>\u00a0 Caseload &amp; Compliance<\/h6><ul><li>Manage and grow a caseload. Part-time goal of 10-20 active clients per week, working toward the FT goal of 20-30+ active clients per week.<\/li><li>Follow all documentation, billing, and reporting requirements within agency and mandated timelines.<\/li><li>Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and regulatory guidelines, including HIPAA and state licensing requirements.<\/li><\/ul><h6>\u00a0 Collaboration &amp; Professional Development<\/h6><ul><li>Participate in weekly clinical supervision to review cases, refine treatment approaches, and fulfill licensure requirements.<\/li><li>Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to ensure client care.<\/li><li>Engage in professional development activities to increase clinical skills.<\/li><li>Uphold the mission and values of the company by fostering an inclusive, supportive, and ethical counseling environment.<\/li><li>Adhere to agency policies, including nondiscrimination and workplace safety guidelines.<\/li><\/ul><h4>Required Qualifications<\/h4><h6>\u00a0 Education &amp; Licensure<\/h6><ul><li>Master\u2019s degree in counseling, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.<\/li><li>Active registration with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists.<\/li><li>Free from any open investigations and\/or disciplinary actions.<\/li><li>Commitment to completing licensure requirements (supervision, hours, board exam) within three years.<\/li><li>Must be able to successfully pass the Oregon criminal background check, including clearance by the DHS Background Check Unit.<\/li><\/ul><h6>\u00a0 Skills &amp; Competencies<\/h6><ul><li>Self-directed with the ability to manage caseload responsibilities independently.<\/li><li>Strong rapport-building skills and motivation to develop a thriving caseload.<\/li><li>Effective time management skills to meet clinical and administrative deadlines.<\/li><li>Competency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, or willingness to learn.<\/li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mediation skills.<\/li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills.<\/li><li>Ability to engage with diverse populations professionally and respectfully.<\/li><\/ul><h6>\u00a0 Work Environment &amp; Physical Requirements<\/h6><ul><li>Office environment with extended periods of computer use, up to eight hours a day.<\/li><li>Occasional travel for meetings, consultations, and training.<\/li><li>Ability to reach, handle, and carry office supplies and materials as needed.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Registered Counseling Associate The Registered Counseling Associate provides high-quality mental health services, including individual, group, and family counseling.
