Essential Job Functions
- Provide individualized training tailored to the client’s needs at Employer and community-based sites.
- Develop compensatory strategies and job aids to assist in performance at Employer and assessment sites.
- Problem-solve interpersonal issues and poor work behavior as needed. Consult with Supervisor when needed.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with the supervisor at each site and check in regularly with them to make sure any concerns are addressed.
- Schedule client check-ins as outlined in Service Agreements. Attend ISP meetings and communicate regularly with the client support team as well as the DCC LTS Management team.
- Evaluate the client’s work performance on Dirkse CC forms.
- Keep accurate records of time spent per client and case notes according to Dirkse CC’s SOPs.
- Completion of OAR Supported Employment Core Competencies and Training Standards Modules.
- Participate in meetings, training, and other DCC-sponsored events as requested.
- Follow all Dirkse CC Health and Safety guidelines as indicated in the Employee Manual.
- Complete projects and other duties as assigned by the organization’s leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- 6 months to 1 year of work or personal experience supporting an individual experiencing a disability.
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle, auto insurance, and good driving record
- Pass a criminal background check, complete online mandatory abuse training, and obtain First Aid/CPR certification.
- Ability to enter information into computerized databases.
- Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
- Organized and able to juggle multiple tasks.
Physical Requirements
- Work within the light range of physical work at Employer job assessment sites or with clients
- Able to lift 20lbs consistently and up to 40lbs at times.
- Able to reach, handle, and carry office supplies and materials.
- Ability to drive to outside appointments.
- Work might be conducted indoors or outdoors.
